A REDHEAD has told how bullies making fun of her ginger hair provided the inspiration for her successful business.
Courtney Grimshaw, 28, hated the cruel taunts aimed at her during her school days and didn’t understand why she was targeted for something so silly.
But it only fuelled her resolve and now she has her own firm appropriately named Ginger Red Social Media.
The businesswoman, based in Bothwell, Glasgow, says: “I’m a natural redhead, I was bullied at school for being ginger and got called names throughout my full childhood for being ginger.
“As only two per cent of the population is ginger, it’s fair to say it’s pretty rare and people just love making fun of you.
“My business is Ginger Red Social Media and I am the life and soul (and face) of the business, and I’m delighted to have have named it after my ginger hair.

“Disney princesses are ginger and Prince Harry is a ginger, maybe that’s where the attraction has come from?
“Either way, ginger hair is here to stay and it’s a very unique and considered on trend now due to the influx of ginger celebrities and influencers.
