I was dress coded at a restaurant and forced to wear a lost property scarf to cover my boobs – I thought I looked classy | The Sun

SHE thought she'd picked a classy outfit for a meal out at an upscale restaurant.

But one woman was left more than a little red-faced when staff at the eatery deemed her ensemble inappropriate for their establishment.

They then gave her a scarf from the lost property box to cover up her revealing top.

She took to TikTok to share the embarrassing tale, showing herself sitting at the table with the scarf draped over her shoulders.

"When you get dresscoded at an upscale restaurant," she wrote over the video, which was soundtracked by people singing "here comes the w**re".

The 23-year-old also gave a glimpse of her outfit as she rearranged the scarf, and it appeared to consist of a very low cut green crop top and trousers.

She added in the caption: "Yes this scarf belongs to the restaurant… i didn’t know these were the vibes."

The majority of people in the comments section of the video admitted they weren't surprised that staff decided she'd violated the dress code.

"You look gorgeous but no formal restaurant would allow that top," one wrote.

"Most upscale restaurants have dress codes, usually business/smart casual," another added.
