A WOMAN has been inundated with praise after revealing how she turned a shed into a tiny house on her parents' land.

Brylee Batie, who is 20, took to TikTok and posted a video giving social media users a tour of the interior of her titchy home, before sharing a breakdown of costs.


In the clip, she begins by explaining the shell itself cost £12,424 ($15,000), which she bought used from a family friend, while the price to have it delivered was a further £828 ($1000).

The electric and plumbing set Brylee back £3,313 ($4,000), framing, ceiling and trim (drywall, tape and bed, primer/paint) cost £1,366 ($1,650).

The stylish wooden flooring was priced at ($800) and the kitchen cost £331 ($400), with Brylee getting the modern cabinets and countertops for free.

Finally, she forked out £702 ($845) for the bathroom and laundry room but managed to cut back on some costs after having the toilet given to her.

Brylee concludes the total cost of the project before furniture, decor and appliances is £19,627 ($23,695).

The video has since gone viral, racking up over 134,000 views and several comments – with one person even pointing out people are trying to flog similar for £124,249 ($150,000).
