I'm a beauty pro and did a full face of makeup from WILKO – there’s a bargain base product you need to snap up, pronto | The Sun

A BEAUTY pro has taken to TikTok to share his thoughts on Wilko’s budget makeup range – and there’s a great dupe for the viral Fenty Skin Blur.

William shared his first impressions on a range of Essence products which he picked up at Wilko, including two different primers, a foundation and a range of powders.

The makeup fan, known online as @snatchedbywill, regularly shares beauty tips with his 903,000 TikTok followers.

In a new reel, he said: “Let’s do a full face of Essence makeup. I’m so scared.

“This came to, all together, £55. I bought loads, by the way.

“I think it’s really affordable. Everything was really affordable, this was like £1 to £5.”

Starting with the primers, Will started by sharing his thoughts on the Primer Serum Hydrate & Plump and the Hydro Hero Primer.

He continued: “Primer, this was £2, and it’s a priming serum.

“It smells really, really nice. Really fresh. That’s left a nice glow.

“I also grabbed their Hydro Primer, this was £3.

“It’s got a really strong soap smell, I’m not liking this but it’s doing the job.

“This has got hyaluronic acid and cucumber extract, so it’s good for the skin and it’s left my skin nice and glowy.”

While that wasn’t a total hit, William was a fan of the Stay All Day 16h long-lasting Foundation – and even claimed it could be a dupe for the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint, priced at £27.

That’s a potential saving of almost £20.

“For foundation, I grabbed two shades. I’m not going to lie to you, they’re not looking cute, but we’re going to just work with what we’ve got.

“I’m going to go with the shade Soft Almond. This is a 16-hour wear foundation, that’s amazing.

“This foundation is £7.60., I mean she looks good.

“The foundation looks amazing. It’s really glowy and it just looks flawless.

“I’m not going to say it because I love the brand, but it’s reminding me of her.”

Next up, the Skin Lovin’ Sensitive Concealer.

He added: “So this is £2.80. This is blending out so gorge. This is in the shade Medium.”

During part two, William also tried a setting powder, bronzer and highlighter.

While the powder wasn’t too bad, the bronzer wasn’t a hit with Will at all.

He claimed he didn’t see the point in it, as it was hard to see where he’d applied it.

William also tried a simmer eyeshadow, an eyeliner pen, mascara and some lashes – again, there were mixed reviews.

Fans loved his honesty, with the video gaining more than 106,000 likes and 806,000 views.

In the comments, William’s followers shared their reactions, with one writing: “That foundation shade was beautiful on you.”
