A BEAUTY whizz has revealed her clever way to get the most of her mascara, but trolls have branded it “scary”.
Andreea Pletea, 22, took to her Instagram account to share a short clip of herself to demonstrate the hack, which involved the use of concealer and powder.
Using straight mascara on the right side of her face, she applied a small amount of concealer followed by a light layer of powder on her left.
She then overlaid this with Maybelline’s Colossal Lengthening and Volumising Mascara , showing how much longer the lashes look with this hack.
The video gained some attention as it was reshared on @makeupsface, where they added in the caption: “Mascara hack or normal mascara?”
The clip caused much debate among viewers, with many left preferring the normal side over the hack.

“Lol went from mascara to mascary,” [sic] one person joked.
Another said: “The normal mascara looks better lol,” with a shocked emoji, while a third added: “Nope. Went from mascara to maSPIDERy”. [sic]
Others suggested she just used lash primer rather than mixing the mascara with make-up powder.
One wrote: “They have primer for lashes, its white and then you apply your mascara, there is a difference when u use eyelash primer.” [sic]

Meanwhile, some thought it looked great as one person shared: “Looks really nice. Only thing is, that ur mascara will dry out fast from powder on the brush”. [sic]
Another said: “People are so evil…always judging everyone and everything. Jealousy is for REAL. girl..your lashes look amazing. Keep doing you.” [sic]
A third simply wrote: “Love this,” with two heart eyes emojis, while another said: “Looks gorgeous hun”. [sic]
