I'm a bra expert with big boobs – my strap test reveals if you've bought the wrong size | The Sun

A BRA expert with big boobs has shared her strap test to reveal if you're wearing the right size.

Madison, who uses the TikTok handle @madisonanneh, shared her tips for determining whether a bra is fitting properly by using her strap test.

Madison opted to answer two questions in her video.

The first question, which she pulled from a topic jar, is: "Why are my straps falling down?

The second question is: "And why are my straps digging in?"

Madison says that the answer is more than likely the same to both questions.

"This is like a very personal thing, it's not going to be the same thing on everybody," she said.

"Unfortunately that is the nature of bras."

But Madison says that the likely source of the issue – whether straps are falling down or digging in – is that the band size is probably too big.

"When the band size of your bra is not fitting correctly, it can affect like the entirety of the fit," she said.

The band should be snug and sturdy, Madison continued, because the band provides the most support.

Madison showed examples of both scenarios, highlighting how the band being too big could lead to both floppy straps and digging straps.

She said in both cases, the band isn't providing the necessary support, which is why the straps are faltering.

Madison then put on a properly-fitted bra, showing the band sitting horizontally around her body – not scooping upward or sitting too low.

She has the straps tightened to about the middle of her back, but says that will vary for everybody depending upon height and shoulder shape.

Madison is only able to pull both the band and the straps an inch or two from her body, indicating a proper fit.
