I'm a budget bride and here's why you need to run to Home Bargains if you're tying the knot – my cake display is sorted | The Sun

A KEEN bargain hunter is encouraging brides-to-be to run to Home Bargains, after doing a huge haul for her 2023 spring wedding.

She even managed to bag a cake stand for the big day for just £9.99.

Bride-on-a-budget Emily, known online as @emily.hermon, revealed the wide range of decorations, accessories and table decor available in the discount store, with most under £10.

In a new TikTok reel, she said: “If you’re getting married on a budget, definitely have a look in Home Bargains because at the moment they’ve got some cracking things.

“We picked up three of these slate serving boards. The little towers are going to be perfect for displaying our cupcakes and welsh cakes.

“And we got these slate plates as well. They’re £1.50 and it’s real slate. They’re going to look amazing.

“Serving board towers are like £20 on Amazon.”

During the one-minute video, Emily is seen wandering the aisles of her local store in Swansea, Wales.

She added: “They also just have a huge range of tablecloths, plates, all sorts, and it’s all in every similar sort of styling.
