I'm a celebrity makeup artist – how the stars get airbrushed 'Barbie' legs, the secret is a £9 bargain buy | The Sun

A CELEBRITY makeup artist has revealed how the stars get airbrushed ‘Barbie’ legs before stepping out on the red carpet.

Courtney took to TikTok to share her wonder product and revealed that the secret isn’t a good spray tan.

Instead, she recommends stocking up on the Vita Liberata Body Blur, which comes in at just £8.99 on eBay.

Known online as @courtneyhartmakeup, she regularly shares beauty hauls and reviews with her 350,200 followers.

Reacting to another women’s reel where she questions how celebs achieve the ‘Barbie’ leg look, she said: “Girl is speaking the truth, this is my holy grail product for the red carpet.

“It is Vita Liberata.

“I use it on every single person I send out on a carpet.

“I'm gonna show you what it is, and I'm gonna show you how to use it.”

During the two-minute video, the beauty pro reveals the secret is using one of the lighter shades to avoid any mismatching – and applying it with a body brush will make things even easier.

She continued: “Vita Liberata comes in a variety of colors. I have three, I have Lighter Light, Light, and Medium.

“Make sure, if you're using it, not to go too dark on the chest, if your face is lighter. Just so you don't have some sort of mismatch situation going on.

“You can use this on the face, which I do sometimes just to bring up and make everything feel cohesive.

“I'm gonna show you the color Light today to demonstrate, and this is my favourite brush to put it on with.

“It is by Anisa. It's their body brush, and it makes the application flawless.”

While the Anisa Pinnacle Body Brush is only available in the US, similar styles are available from brands like Revolution for as little as £8.

Showing beauty fans how she applies it, she added: “There's a little bit of a learning curve.

“Okay, I have some on the back of my hand. I'm gonna use this.

“I'm gonna put it right onto the brush, and then you really want to buff it in, and you want to work quickly because it does dry, and once it dries, it will get patchy, and you do not want to look patchy, trust me.

“Especially if you're trying to get a little bit more bronzed.

“This doesn't have a tonne of coverage, but it is enough to cover redness.

“If you have just, like, a little bit you're trying to get rid of on your skin, then it will do the job.

“I love this stuff because it dries down pretty well and doesn't feel sticky or like it's gonna run all over everything.”

Shoppers can pick up the Vita Liberata Body Blur from various retailers, including Boots and Sephora UK, with prices starting from as little as £8.99.

Fans loved her recommendation, with her review gaining more than 31,900 likes and 508,400 views.

In the comments, TikTokkers shared their thoughts, with one writing: “Thank you for this public service.”

Another makeup artist commented: “Agree to agree!! I use the same product and brush lol.”
