A CLEANING whizz has revealed the hidden spot on your fridge you've probably never cleaned.
Not only is it filthy, but it could be costing you a fortune as well, but don't worry it's really easy to get spick and span.
According to the cleaning pros from Kura Home Maintenance you should be vacuuming the dust from your refrigerator coils regularly.
The coils are usually located on the back of your fridge and are used to keep everything inside running smoothly so your food remains cool.
However, if the coils are coated in dust it can take more energy to keep your fridge at the right temperature – which costs you more money.
The cleaning and maintenance expert explained: "You see, those neglected refrigerator coils aren't just innocent bystanders – they play a significant role in your energy consumption.

"And over time, dust and debris accumulate in those coils, causing your fridge to work harder, churning away precious energy and increasing your utility bills without you even realising it."
Luckily, they're really easy to clean and won't take more than five minutes to do.
Simply pull your fridge away from the wall and unplug it.
There might be a panel covering to coils on your fridge, but you can check you appliance manual if you're unsure where it is or how to remove it.

Using the small nozzle on your vacuum cleaning you can suck up the dust, and any small parts can be removed with a brush.
After sharing the trick on Instagram other cleaning fans were amazed they didn't know how dirty the coils can get.
One said: "My refrigerator doesn't work anymore but the freezer part does, I wonder if this has anything to do with it?"
A second commented: "Doing this every so often has kept my fridge going 29 years! Hope to eek a few more years out of it."
"This is on my list for today! Especially if you have animals in the house you should be dusting your coils monthly," another wrote.
