If you're hesitant about what serums to try, a dermatologist has shared her top recommendations from Target, and the products to avoid.
TikTok user Dr Lindsey, known to her followers as the dermguru, shared her dos and don'ts when it comes to skincare products from Target.
For her first recommendation, the skincare expert showed her viewers the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum.
The $17 product is developed with dermatologists and helps to reduce post-acne marks and pores by improving the skin barrier.
On the other hand, Dr Lindsey advised her viewers to avoid purchasing the Nova Antimicrobial Sonic Cleansing System from Spa Sciences.

"Don't ever think about it," the TikTok user told her audience as she showed them the $40 facial brush.
She also recommended investing in the $20 Posay Effaclar Clarifying Solution by LaRoche.
According to the skincare expert, the toner is perfect to "wash away those pores."
However, the charcoal deep cleansing pore strips from Biore were a no-go for the dermatologist.

The $15 set, which includes 18 nose strips, is said to remove blackheads from your nose area within minutes.
The derm guru did advise her followers to stock up on the Naturium Glycolic Acid Resurfacing Gel 10%.
The $23 dermatologist-tested product helps exfoliate dead skin cells and improves the appearance of uneven skin tones.
And finally, Dr Lindsey branded the St. Ives Blackhead Clearing Scrub as "garbage."
The skincare product is made from green tea and bamboo extract and is available for $5 from Target.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the skincare advice.
"The CeraVe retinol serum literally changed my skin overnight," wrote one viewer.
