I'm a fashion expert – how often you should really wash your jeans… it's not as much as you might think | The Sun

YOU might be washing your jeans far too often, at least according to this fashion expert.

Apparently, they don't need to be washed after every wear – or even after 10 wears.

Levi's design director Paul O'Neill revealed some people choose to never wash their denim, but he gives his jeans a cold wash every "30 to 50 wears."

Not only that, but he never puts them in a tumble dryer, he told AFR.

Instead, the pro recommended washing jeans alone on a gentle cycle to prevent colours from running.

That said, the fashion expert admitted how often you wash your jeans is also down to your own preference, as well as your lifestyle.
