Taking to social media, fashion guru Karina has given some tips that will ensure that you're always dressed for success, and look sophisticated too.
In a video shared with her 387k TikTok followers, Karina said that you shouldn't wear things that are too casual.
Giving a visual of the type of garments you should avoid, Karina wore a white ribbed tank top with thick straps, and a blue pleated skirt with a white floral pattern.
She looked like she was going out to brunch with friends after a long work week, rather than making her way to a professional nine-to-five gig.
If your workplace actually errs more on the casual side though, no worries.

Karina explained that you can still dress to impress without overdoing it.
She demonstrated this, wearing a white high-neck top tucked into a chic black skirt.
If your workplace is more formal, Karina advised dressing as upscale as you can, as "first impressions matter."
To give viewers some dressy work fashion inspiration, she served a modern look.

It featured a sleeveless white tie-front blazer layered over a basic white shirt, trendy black slacks, and some strappy white heels.
Finally, while it's tempting to throw on your crisp white button-down without doing a round of steaming, Karina says that wrinkly clothes at the workplace are a no-go.
Be sure to iron the wrinkles out of your clothes for a polished appearance.
Some viewers in the comments section of Karina's clip agreed with her tips, like one woman who joked: "When my husband has to go [to] an important meeting I beg him not to wear a wrinkled shirt because people will think he has no wife!"
