I’m a fashion fan and these are the best styles to wear if you want to hide your belly but stay cool during the heatwave | The Sun

IF YOU'RE not a lover of crop-tops and are struggling to find anything to wear this summer, you're not alone.

With so many trends focused around showing off the midriff it can be hard to feel comfortable and cool and still look on trend.

Luckily, fashion guru Marielle Greguski shared some of the best things to wear for those of us who don't love showing off our bellies, but still don't want to overheat.

The first outfit that works great for hot summer days and looks great on everyone are mini exercise dresses.

The A-line shape is always flattering and since they're made for exercising the fabric will usually be light and breathable.

Not only that but they have shorts attached the the dress, which means no chub rub! It's like all of our prayers have been answered.

The fashionista also recommended "flowy A-line mini skirts", these can be mini or midi, both look just as chic.

You can pair them with a bralette like Marielle, which will still hide your belly if the skirt is high-waisted, or opt for a light-weight top.

Finally, sundresses are the go-to option for loads of us when the weather heats up, but some of them draw more attention to the stomach than you might like.

Empire waist sundresses are great for this and will skim over your belly perfectly.

Fellow fashion fans loved the outfit ideas, one said: "A-line is truly my belly's best friend."

A second said: "These are all so cute! I just go for a huge shirt and bike shorts that wont ride up!"

Someone else recommended high waisted paper bag shorts, "they always do a good job distracting from my tummy," they said.
