I’m a fashion pro – stop chafing this summer with DIY shorts that don’t require sewing | The Sun

CHAFING affects a lot of people during the summer months, regardless of your size.

The irritation chafing causes can be enough to make you want to avoid summer attire altogether, but there is a simple solution.

TikToker Marie Boulter shared her hassle-free method of converting old tights into anti-chafing shorts.

You can make the most of your summer wardrobe with just three simple items.

Using scissors, Marie cut her tights so that they were just above her knee.

She then placed strips of hemming web at the bottom of each leg and folded the material over it.

Marie used an iron to activate the glue in the web, sealing the hem and preventing fraying.

The hemming web not only stops tearing at the hem of the tights, it also prevents them from rolling up your thighs.

As chafing generally occurs in hot weather, using an old pair of tights may also work to keep you cooler than other anti-chafing shorts.

TikTok users took to the comments section to share their own hacks for beating chub rub.
