A WOMAN has hit back at people telling her she should buy two seats if she was fed up with being uncomfortable traveling in discomfort on planes.

Kayla Logan, from the US, filmed herself on a plane and described the issues she had fitting in a seat.

Posting a clip on her TikTok account, Kayla demonstrated uncomfortable it was trying to sit on a plane and the comments she gets from passengers sitting next to her.

She said: " Okay I'm a fat woman travelling and this is the seat right now," as she showed she couldn't fit in the seat.

"I literally go on top of the next person's seat so I'm kind of worried I'm gonna sit beside someone who is fatphobic," Kayla added.

She revealed she couldn't even put the armrest down and had asked the flight attendant for a seat belt extender.

Kayla said: "I deserve to fly and I deserve to take up space and seats should be bigger."

She captioned the post: "I had to sit with half my body in the aisle for the 5hr flight. It was painful to say the least.

"We shouldn’t have to buy business class just to have equal access to seats that fit on flights!"

However, it seems not everyone agrees, one wrote: "Seats should be bigger because they’ve reduced their size in order to cram more people in a plane. However, they are not. So buy 2 seats."

Another person added: "ok but the person in the seat next to you has literally nothing to do with you existing, so why is it their fault. why don't they deserve comfort too."

A third penned: "But also, being the person in the other seat and only getting half of it??? Buy two seats!? Or pay for half of theirs."

Kayla responded in another video saying she shouldn't have to buy two seats and that it shouldn't be her personal responsibility.

Instead, Kayla believes the responsibility should fall on the airline to accommodate everyone who flies.
