A GYPSY has opened up about the secrets to her gorgeous, long hair – admitting that people are often stunned when she reveals her haircare routine.
Charlotte Ann is constantly inundated with requests from people asking her to share her top tips for thick, healthy hair.
So she decided to spill the beans, as she began: "What do gypsies do to have such thick, long hair?
"I'll show you the old fashioned way now… an outside tap.
"I think people think we do all this magic on our hair but we really don't – just an outside tap or a bucket is how we used to wash it years ago.
"And in the summer I still wash my hair with the outside tap because it cools me down – win win."

After wetting her hair using the outside tap, Charlotte Ann applies her shampoo.
But she said that her mum used to use something different – and had a better head of hair than she's ever had.
"My mammy used to use Fairy Liquid when she was younger – washing up liquid – and my mammy's hair was to her knees, she had a lot better head of hair than me," she said.
"A lot, and she put Fairy Liquid on her head, and washed it with a dish of water. Or with an outside tap.
"An outside tap was a luxury when you were travelling years ago – sometimes it would be just a big old dish of water."
Once her shampoo is in, Charlotte Ann goes back under the tap to wash it all out.
And once that's done, she scrunches a bit of gel in "to make my curls less frizzy", before scrunching her hair with a towel and wrapping the towel around her head.
"This is the most basic way to ever do your hair and this was even more than what they used to do years ago," she concluded, adding that they only ever used a product like gel or mousse if they were going to a wedding or a special occasion.
Charlotte Ann finished her video by sharing the results of her hair washing routine – running her hands through her curly locks.
"So many ask what girls do to have so much hair so ill finally show yous all," she captioned her TikTok.
People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: "That’s it! I’m using my outside tap!

"My nan swore by rainwater she used to wash my mom's hair in a bucket of rainwater outside, makes your hair so soft…I duno if I'd try it tho," another added.
