WE all love a fancy-flavoured autumnal drink from Starbucks, but if you’re enjoying them on a regular basis, the cost quickly adds up.
So one savvy influencer has decided to help out by posting her recipes to make the beverages at home – and save yourself a fortune in the process.
Nicole Keshishian Modic regularly shares her easy cooking tips with her 1.2 million followers on her Instagram account @KaleJunkie.
And in a recent series, she’s shared how she easily creates Starbucks dupes, claiming you can make “five drinks in the comfort of your own home for the cost of just ONE”.
In one clip, she tells viewers how they can create the viral Iced Apple Crisp Oat Milk Shaken Espresso, which she claims “tastes like fall in a glass”.
You want to begin by combining around four tablespoons of applesauce with eight tablespoons of brown sugar, two of cinnamon, and a glug of water, which you then gently heat until it thickens up.

“It takes one minute to make,” she writes in the caption, “and tastes a million times better.”
Add a cup of your preferred milk to a blender, along with 6 tablespoons of pumpkin purée with three tablespoons of pumpkin pie extract, a tablespoon of vanilla extract and 4 tablespoons of maple syrup.
Keep the creamy mix in the fridge, and when you fancy a coffee, add ice cubes to a glass with your cold brew, coffee or espresso.
Then top it off with your desired amount of pumpkin cream, and give it a stir.
“I’ll attest to this recipe tasting WAY better than Starbucks,” one fan wrote in the comments.
The canny influencer has also come up with an uber-quick method to dupe everyone’s favourite autumn beverage – Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte.
The super-simple recipe involves whisking together a tablespoon of pumpkin purée with a tablespoon of maple syrup, three tablespoons of almond milk and half a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice.
Add ice cubes and pour in more milk of your choosing, and voilà: a Pumpkin Spice Latte in the comfort of your own home.
