I'm a mum & my 'lazy girl' dinner is perfect for the kids – some disagree but they're missing out on a trick | The Sun

IF you’re a mum and in charge of cooking the dinner – sometimes all you want is something quick and simple to make.

But thinking up some recipes after a long day leaves you pulling your hair out.

Luckily, food enthusiast Alyssa Lorenco has shared her ‘lazy girl’ dinner which is ‘perfect for the kids.’

First grab a bag of carrots, a bag of green beans and pound and half of potatoes, mix those up in a big oven tray with some olive oil and seasonings of your choice.

She then adds boneless chicken on top of the veg, before quickly making up a type of gravy to pour on top for extra flavour.

Alyssa then grabs a saucepan, places on heat and starts melting butter, with added minced garlic and honey.

She adds: “This is optional but I added a dash of coconut aminos.”

Alyssa then adds salt and pepper before stirring it and letting it simmer on a low heat for around five minutes.

She then removes it from the hat and pours it all over the chicken and veg and bakes on around 180 degrees for an hour.

The video attracted thousands of people, with many rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts – as some were not convinced about the speed.
