THERE are certain downsides to being a mum who likes wearing trendy clothes.
And one of them is finding something to wear when you have to go to your kid's school.
That was the predicament Brittany found herself in, as she prepared for a "meet the teachers" night at her daughter's school.
In a video on TikTok, Brittany called herself a "mum who doesn't dress like a mum".
She began the clip wearing a purple crop top and white tiered skirt, before changing into a green long-sleeved dress.
"Thought this was the one cause the tattoos are covered…" she said.

But then Brittany turned around – showing that the dress was backless.
"Way too much skin," she insisted.
Next up was a cropped white T-shirt and jeans, but Brittany ruled it out immediately as it was "see through".
She also bemoaned the fact that all she owns "is crop tops".

Brittany then tried to find a way to cover up her tattooed body, wearing a jumper draped over her shoulders.
But it was an immediate no, with the mum then deciding to raid her daughter's wardrobe.
She then showed herself wearing a T-shirt she'd borrowed from her daughter, over a cream satin jumpsuit.
"Yep – stealing my 10-year-old's tanktop because it fits me better than my own!" she added.
In the caption, Brittany explained: "I wear my tattoos PROUDLY… (anywhere besides the school) Is any one else like this?!
"I struggled every time I volunteered last year to find school appropriate clothes to wear.
"A sweater is always my go to but it was 100 degrees today & that ain't happening."
The comments section was almost immediately filled with remarks from teachers, the majority of whom insisted Brittany should just wear what she wants.
"Coming from a teacher we don’t care how you look," one wrote.
"Just that you’re there and supportive which clearly you are!"
"I’m a teacher (in your town) and I honestly wouldn’t mind any of these," another added.
