I'm a proud mom with big boobs – I hated how big they were but now I share videos of me breastfeeding to 'normalize it' | The Sun

THIS mom wasn't prepared for how much her boobs would grow after having a baby but she doesn't care and posts videos of it her breastfeeding anyways.

While most moms talk about the joys of motherhood, there are some struggles that come with the new territory, including breastfeeding anxiety.

Mands Montoya is the mother of a one-year-old baby girl and she went on TikTok to "normalize" breastfeeding when you already have big boobs.

In a video, Mands shared the things she wished she prepared for when breastfeeding with a larger chest.

The mom "already hated how big [her boobs] were," she recalled.

"And you think they couldn't possibly get bigger," Mands said about her experience breastfeeding her newborn.

Mands mentioned the feeling she would get of being "inappropriate and too self-conscious" to breastfeed in public when her "whole boob is out."

Going off of that, she felt "sad and left out" when she couldn't easily breastfeed in public.

The mom said she was also anxious about "suffocating them" or "smothering them."

Mands added that she experienced more back pain on top of the back pain she already had.

The new mom wasn't prepared for "the reliance" on her breastfeeding pillow as well. She said it's like "another limb."

Despite the laborious job of breastfeeding, Mands said "there is no greater feeling than getting a latch and sharing the feeding snuggles."

Mands mentioned in the caption of the video that she had second thoughts about posting the clip because she "didn't feel confident enough too."

"But that's part of the problem," she said.

Viewers appreciated Mands bringing up these difficult issues to talk about.

"Thank you so much for sharing!" one mom-to-be commented. "All of these are things I've been worried about so I'm glad I'm not alone."

Another viewer agreed not to worry about what people think when breastfeeding in public.

She said: "Yep, I've gotten to the point where I don't care who sees my bewb. I'm feeding my kid like chill."

"Yes to all of this! I felt so weird needing the nursing pillow for so long!" a third wrote.
