A SAVVY shopper has revealed the money-saving trick most people don’t know about Ikea.
Taking to her social media, Ginella Massa explained that you’re basically just “leaving money on the table” if you don’t take advantage of her hack.
She said: “When you go to Ikea, do not go in through the main entrance, that’s for amateurs and rookies.”
Instead, she instructed viewers to go in through the exit or, if you go through the main entrance, walk directly to the checkout counters from there by “turning left”.
Then, you need to walk in through the checkout counters as “either on the right or the left, you’re going to see a section called ‘as is’”.
She added that it may have been rebranded by now and is now called ‘the circular hub’.

But this section has furniture and other items that are already assembled.
“I’m talking tables, I’m talking dressers, I’m talking beds – I’m talking, 40, 50, 60 percent off,” she continued.
“And typically, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, it’s usually just someone has returned something, but the plus side is, it’s already assembled.”
Giving an example, she displayed a set of drawers for the bedroom which usually cost £158, but she got two of them for £95 each.

Ginella admitted that the only catch is that you would need the space in your car to be able to transport the already assembled furniture back to your home.
She also got a mattress that usually sells for £553, but she managed to nab it for £386 instead.
The savvy woman went on: “You can actually shop the ‘as is’ section online. That’s because not everything is returned.
“A lot of it is also stuff that’s been discontinued, so they’ll have multiple items. It’ll still be in packages.”
She added that you need to shop those items “by location”.
An Ikea worker immediately responded to her video as they wrote: “Ikea worker here. A lot of the times it’s just display models that are being changed out. So it’s basically new. And if you check the as-is sticker, it will usually tell you if it’s a former display, return, or the DC had eds overstock that they need to get rid of.
“You can get extra hardware completely. Just ask the people at returns. & depending on the store, they have wacky Wednesdays for Family Members to get an extra 10% I think on as-is stuff so i think its 15% all together if you have the card”.
Another person shared: “UK website will say circular hub online,” while a third shared: “only bought a coffee pot, will definitely be upping my game now. Thanks!” followed by a smiling emoji.
And a fourth added: “I was today years old when I learned ikea had this section”.
