I'm a tattooed mom – I'm told my neck and face ink is 'trashy' and I ruined my looks but I don't care what haters think | The Sun

A TATTOOED mom has responded to the haters who have criticized her inked look.

These detractors didn't hold back when they shared their views of her unique look.

She hadn't asked for it but they gave it regardless.

It wasn't constructive feedback either, with some of the comments unkind.

But this lady didn't care what the haters thought though.

Queenxmelissa's (@queenxmelissa) response was regal-like and she shrugged their comments away.

Apart a well-poised finger at the end of one of her videos.

She was responding to jibes made about her tattooed skin, while Taylor Swift provided appropriate lyrics: "Horrified looks from everyone in the room."

One of these felt compelled to share their opinion: “Your tattoos are classless. You shouldn’t have ruined your appearance like that."

While another said: “The trashy neck tattoo was already enough.”

Queenxmelissa's look is a dramatic one but she wasn't seeking out unsolicited comments.

"Not looking for unwanted opinions," was her cool response.

Western cultures have taken a while to catch up with others who have long considered tattooed women to be a sign of beauty.

Polynesia and the Maori community of New Zealand are two such examples where tattooed women are synonymous with beauty.

Commenters were universally in agreement that this lady's ink art was gorgeous.

This person made a point: “Wasn’t aware we got tattoos to be classy and appease other people’s ideas of beauty.”

A second person said: “Girl, you’re a baddie. Did not ruin anything at all.”

“You're beautiful. I don’t understand why people always have to be so negative towards people with tattoos," was the reaction of this fan.
