A TEACHER has been labelled a genius by parents after sharing how she gets her noisy class to quieten in seconds.
Mrs Mayer took to her TikTok page to share a video explaining her hack, as she began by trying to get her students to listen.
Taking a deep breath with closed eyes, she held up her hand as she pleaded: "Give me five."
"Give me five," she said again, after the first time did very little to quieten the room.
She then frowned, and got out a wireless doorbell, pressing the button on the front.
Upon hearing the doorbell, her class stopped immediately.

"The only way I can ever get them all to be quiet," she wrote over the top of her video, revealing she'd got the doorbell for just £12.50 on Amazon.
"Best. Purchase. Ever," she captioned her video.
The comments section was quickly filled with people praising her for sharing the hack, while other teachers admitted they were going to try it themselves.
"Investing in this nowww," one wrote.
