I’m a Tesco girlie but I wanted to see what all the M&S fuss was about – I saved so much I’m now I'm a loyal customer | The Sun

A TESCO shopper has revealed that she went to M&S to see what all the fuss was about and was left open-mouthed with her epic shopping haul.

25-year-old Claudia Anderson noted that she did a food shop in M&S to see what the prices were like and was left stunned when it actually worked out cheaper than her normal Tesco shop.

Taking to TikTok to discuss her recent shop, she said: “I just did something that I would never usually do.

“My ‘For You’ page has been absolutely flooded with people doing comparisons on their weekly shops, at places like Waitrose versus Aldi, M&S versus Tesco, so on, so on.

“So today I thought, you know what? I'm gonna do my weekly shop at M&S and see if there's that much of a difference.

“Now, I am a Tesco girl, and I will die on that hill and so I just did the bulk of my shop, bearing in mind that we are vegan, I did the bulk of my shop at M&S.

“The only thing I couldn't get was milks, our soya milks and things like that, I couldn't get any cream (vegan cream) and I also couldn't get a pizza base mix, which I'm just gonna go in Tesco and get anyway, which is not gonna cost me that much."

Claudia then explained that her shopping haul was actually cheaper in M&S than at Tesco.

She continued: “My weekly shop at Tesco last week was £91, my total for today at M&S, £56.99.

“I’m gonna come and do my shop in M&S.”
