FROM the dress and heels to accessories, purchasing an outfit for a night out can cost a small fortune.
But one woman has proven that you can look just as good on a small budget after she nabbed a whole new outfit for just £7 – and there wasn't a charity shop in sight.
Savvy shopper Catherine Cockburn took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and explained how she hit the hugely discounted sales in Primark and Boohoo.
She then posted several snaps where she can be seen modelling her bargain buys – a figure-hugging black lace dress and stylish heeled sandals featuring bow detail.
Alongside the image, she penned: "Managed to get an outfit for £7.80.
"Black lace dress was in boohoo big 90% sale other week was only £2.80 and shoes were reduced to £5 in Primark.

The post quickly racked up over 2,700 likes and has received over 400 comments – with many praising Catherine's bargain ensemble.
