IF YOU struggle to make the perfect poached eggs, you certainly aren’t alone – but there is an easy hack to nailing them every time.

A woman shared her clever air fryer trick which creates runny, delicious eggs for your brunch.


All you need to do is grab one of those old dessert ramekins you have lying at the back of your cupboard.

TikTok user @airfryeruk1 said: “Let’s make air fryer poached eggs and let me tell you they are absolutely incredible.

“Just look at that yolk.

“What I did was spray a couple of these little glass dishes with a little bit of olive oil and then fill them just above half way with boiling water from the kettle.

“Then you just want to crack your eggs in.”

The woman pointed out that you don’t want to break the yolk, so you should add your eggs carefully.

Then you add your glass pots to your air fryer for six minutes at 200C.

After this time, they should look a cloudy white colour and firm instead of watery.

She continued: “After six minutes, they should look something like this.

“Drain all the water out and then I just went round the edges with a knife and popped them on a plate with whatever you want to serve them with.

“Look at these, absolutely unreal.”
