I'm an AirBnB host and am always left stunned by what people leave behind – I have to chuck most of it away though | The Sun

AN AirBnB host has shared the staggering amount of food and drink that's left behind when guests leave after their stay.

The woman rents out her property in Miami, Florida, and regularly shares videos on her social media pages of how it looks once the guests leave.

Explaining that she doesn't expect them to clean up before they go, she recently shared a TikTok video which showed just how much stuff had been left after a three-night stay.

She began with an unopened box of Frosties, an olive oil spray can, an opened bag of chocolates, some protein biscuits, snack crackers, ground coffee, bagel thins and Smart Water.

There was also a pack of hair scrunchies and a whole load of sunglasses, many of which were in sealed packets.

It seemed to have been a hen do, as there were "Bride" balloons in the front room.

She then moved onto the fridge, inside which was coffee creamer, relish, string cheese, cream cheese, sparkling water, ginger ale, fruit and veg, several varieties of milk, some eggs, hard seltzer drinks and some dips.

People were quick to comment on the video, including one who wrote: "You don’t throw everything away right?!?"

The woman responded in another TikTok, as she explained that she gets rid of anything that's opened.

And showed herself tipping bottle after bottle of drink down the sink.

"What do you do with all the unopened stuff?" someone else asked.

To which other people insisted that she "keeps it".

However, the owner herself didn't comment on that.

"I gotta ask what is the craziest thing a guest left behind," another person commented.

To which the woman replied: "Uhmm a d**do."

"Do they ever come back for food?" someone else asked.

"Never," the woman answered.

She also revealed in another video that it takes her and a cleaner an entire six hours to clean the property so it's ready for the next guests.
