I’m hot-shamed for being too attractive – people judge me and I’m told to cover up, people are so cruel | The Sun

A GORGEOUS model has ditched her daring outfits – saying women give her dirty looks when she walks down the street and her friends have snubbed her for being too sexy.

Louanna Jasmin, 30, from London, says she’s a victim of ‘hot-phobia’, a new trend that’s been sweeping social media, where ladies recount their experiences of being trolled and shamed for being attractive.

“I’d never heard of the term hot-phobia but as soon as I did I realised it was happening to me,” she says.

“I’ve been shamed for years for looking a certain way, whether it’s at work, or on the street. I used to love wearing short skirts, low-cut tops and knee high boots.

“But now my friends snub me and don’t invite me out because they say I take all the attention from blokes. I’ve stopped dressing sexily when I’m out now as it’s not worth the drama.”

Louanna says men come up to her on the street asking her out and even her Uber Eats delivery driver tried his luck.

I had a teen injury and didn’t tell anyone, now I’m stuck with a third boob

I’m trolled for my long armpit & leg hair but no one says anything in real life

“My single friends complain about the amount of blokes that come up to me,” she explains.

“Which is so annoying because I have a boyfriend, I don’t even want that sort of attention.

“It’s exhausting. I get wolf whistled and approached by men on the street asking me on dates.

“My Uber Eats driver the other day delivered my takeaway to the door and asked if I had a boyfriend because he wanted to take me out. It’s flattering but also creepy and annoying.

“I’ve changed the way I present myself in public now, because of other people. It’s easier to cover up than deal with the stress.”

Louanna says that people wrongly assume that she is looking for attention.

“Because I wear tight clothes and I’ve got a lot of tattoos, people have this preconception of me that I just want to show off and be sexy but that’s not the case,” she says.

“If I wear a short skirt people think I’m trying to draw attention to myself and my tatts, but I’m really not.

“I’m probably just wearing it because it’s hot outside.

“I know other girls don’t like me. I’ve had to start hiding myself to stop judgement from other people.”

After working in offices for years, Louanna says she was criticised by one particular male manager for wearing ‘inappropriate’ clothing.

“I used to work at a company which was very corporate and I’d wear skirts with knee high boots,” she says.

“People would comment about it behind my back.

“The boss took me aside and told me the office ‘wasn’t a social event’ and I needed to look more professional.

“If it was anyone else wearing that outfit, they wouldn’t have been pulled aside. It’s ridiculous.”

These days Louanna says she can’t even go to the gym without people judging her.

“I’ll wear the baggiest things on the treadmill, because if I’m wearing a sports bra and leggings I’ll get people staring at me,” she says.

“A man once told me I was inviting all the looks, because of the way I dress. So now, I try and project myself differently so people leave me alone.
