I’m plus-size – my Target dress haul was all on clearance, I tried so many different styles but only some wowed me | The Sun

FINDING fashionable and affordable clothing in plus-sizes can be a difficult task.

According to a plus-size influencer, you can restock your summer wardrobe in the clearance section of Target.

Plus-size TikToker Katie Is Winnen shared her summer dress haul from the clearance section at Target.

Katie, who wears a size 16 or 18, modeled a lime green Sleeveless Tie-Back Tiered Dress, available for just under $30.

"I like length. I think it’s cute, but I’m not like 'wow.' I’ve been really trying to be intentional with keeping items that I’m just like 'yes, I love that'," Katie said.

The TikToker explained to her followers that she generally avoids sleeveless dresses because she feels uncomfortable wearing them.

For her next look, Katie tried on a $34 Sleeveless Colorblock Tiered Dress.

"I love this. Even being sleeveless, this dress makes me want to say 'screw it,' and be sleeveless because I love the colors, I love the fit," Katie explained.

She continued: "It’s just really comfortable, it has pockets, this is a winner to me."

Katie also tried on Target's affordable Puff Short Sleeve Dress in both blue and white.

The TikTok user appeared to prefer the $21 dress in white. She said: "This goes right above my knee which feels comfortable to me. It’s shorter than I’m used to, but it’s not too bad."

"I love baby blue so when I saw this color I really wanted to try it. I don’t know how much it’s wowing me though," Katie explained.

She continued: "I think I like the white better. I just love how this is like a blank canvas. I think this could be really fun to play with. I could see this with sneakers, I could see this with sandals.

"I’m having good feelings about the white," Katie concluded.

For her final look, Katie modeled a $25 Puff 3/4 Sleeve Jumpsuit from Target.

Reviewing the patterned outfit, Katie said: "I have nothing like this. I barely have patterned clothing, let alone something like this. The fit is fantastic, it’s really comfortable. I think I really like it."

Katie's followers took to the TikTok comments section to share their thoughts on the outfits.

"I feel like they all looked so good on you! But that jumpsuit especially," one user wrote.

Another viewer said: "I love the jumpsuit! Everything looked beautiful on you, but my favorites were the white dress, jumpsuit, and the long blue dress."

"Dresses are really nice. I also don't feel comfortable showing my arms with sleeveless dresses. I usually cover up with a light cardigan," commented a third person.

"The jumpsuit is perfect! I bought some a few years ago to branch out my style and I love jumpsuits now! So comfortable yet put together!" wrote another follower.
