MONTHS into her pregnancy, a fashion blogger started hearing pushback from people who thought her style was "inappropriate."
The mom took a strong stance with her critics, insisting on wearing the revealing fabrics and eye-catching silhouettes she loves even while expecting.
Style vlogger Melina Tesi has over 271k followers on TikTok, where she has documented her pregnancy through videos since its early days.
In one clip from 18 weeks into pregnancy, Tesi clapped back at critics who had mean things to say about her changing body.
Standing in a matching pajama set, Tesi's stomach was covered as she mimed squinting at the caption on the screen.
"You really shouldn't be dressing like that when you're pregnant," the words read, echoing a sentiment Tesi heard from people in her daily life.

Then, Tesi made a dramatic show of rolling her eyes and stomping out the door, slamming it shut behind her.
When she reappeared onscreen moments later, Tesi was in a black leather miniskirt and a white lace bodysuit with sheer panels across the stomach.
The critical commentary on her style disappeared from the screen as Tesi's reaction appeared in its place: "No," the straightforward message read.
The expecting mom struck a pose, turning to emphasize her baby bump and framing it with her hands.
