The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, and Prince Harry and Meghan travelled from Windsor Castle to Buckingham Palace to receive Her Majesty’s coffin. This is the second time the royal couples are seen together since greeting mourners at Windsor Castle over the weekend.
King Charles and Queen Camilla lead the family as they received the coffin at the Palace, where it will lie until it is taken to Westminster Hall tomorrow.
Kate and William looked visibly affected in the car arriving at Buckingham Palace.
The Princess of Wales was seen wearing a black midi dress and a pearl necklace.
For the occasion, Kate kept her make-up simple and her hair loose.
Her Majesty the Queen’s coffin landed at Northolt and was received at Buckingham Palace by King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, her children and grandchildren, as well as her niece and nephew, Lady Sarah Chatto and Earl Snowdon.
Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward with their spouses, the Queen Consort, Sir Tim Laurence and the Countess of Wessex were present.
The Queen’s grandchildren including Princess Beatrice and her husband Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, Peter Phillips, Zara and Mike Tindall, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, were also at Buckingham Palace.
