Mum buys daughter a wooden alphabet puzzle for her birthday, but is left bemused by some of the letters | The Sun

A MUM who bought her daughter a cute wooden alphabet puzzle for her second birthday has been left bemused by some of the letters on it.

The woman took to TikTok to share a video detailing the issues with the puzzle, as she said: "So yesterday was my daughter’s second birthday and I bought her this super cute wooden block, it’s got all the letters in it.

"Yes, I know there’s two missing but whatever."

She then lifted up the W and the R – underneath which was written Worm and Rabbit respectively – before moving onto the K.

But when she lifted the letter up, she found the word Crocodile underneath.

"K for Crocodile apparently. What?" she asked.

People were quick to comment on the video, with many asking the mum to detail what was beneath each of the letters.

She obliged, and started with the A – lifting it up to reveal the word Affe beneath.

"No idea what an Affe is!" she laughed.

The next few letters were pretty ordinary – a bear, deer, elephant, fox, giraffe, horse and iguana.

J was for jellyfish, L for lion – which had a bizarre mixture of upper and lower case letters – and then mouse, narwhal, owl and pig.

Lifting up the Q, the word Octopus was beneath, before she moved onto the R, for rabbit, S for seahorse, T for tiger, U for unicorn.

And concluding the video, she showed the V – which stood for Vampire bats – and X, for X-ray fish.

"I mean, it’s given me hours of joy in all fairness," she laughed.

"maybe its from a German brand, we write Krokodil," one person commented on the video.

As another added: "It might be from a German company. Crocodile is Krokodil and monkey is Affe in German."
