When you think of frozen food, the first things that come to your mind are frozen fish, meat and veg.
But have you ever heard of freezing eggs?
One mum believes this hack is one of the best ways to make her eggs last longer.
She shared a video of her method which has gone viral online.

The video shows the mum slicing a frozen egg and then frying it before she serves it to her daughter.
She said : "You can actually slice these up whilst they’re still frozen, you then put them into the frying pan and it creates really cool mini eggs".
The TikTok account Instafoodnz decided to put the mums claims to the test.
The account owner puts the two fresh eggs in the freezer.

When they come back they take them out and slice the two eggs.
The account user then fries the sliced eggs in some oil in a pan similar to the way you would cook normal fried eggs.

Though we expect this may take a little longer with frozen sliced eggs.
After frying the user puts the egg slices on top of some buttered toast.
The account user says: “So cute”.
Then they top the eggs on toast with chili sauce.
The account user took a bite and said this recipe was: “Approved”.
Many commenters left mixed reviews with some saying the method could lead to food poisoning and others saying the result looked like Haribo flying saucers.
