My boobs ‘stole the spotlight’ at my son’s birthday party – I didn’t realize until I saw the video | The Sun

BEFORE her son's birthday in the park, a mom put on a pretty sundress and set to work making his party perfect.

After the big day, photos and videos revealed her outfit captured more attention than she'd intended.

The 38-year-old mom, Raquel de Dicuru (@thatecolady), gently poked fun at herself on TikTok.

In a video, she shared an up-close look at her scene-stealing moment, and insisted in the caption that she was "not sorry."

During the cake-cutting, de Dicuru leaned forward to slice into her son's birthday dessert.

But thanks to the angle, her off-the-shoulder dress looked a lot looser than it did head-on.

"When you didn't realize your boobs were stealing the spotlight at your son's birthday party," she wrote in the caption.

While de Dicuru wasn't in danger of a nip slip, much of her chest was visible from high up, and it seemed the dress could fall off at any moment.

Since all of the kids were below adult eye level, they were none the wiser, but a few commenters labeled the outfit as inappropriate.

"Why would you even wear that to a kid's birthday party?" one person demanded.

Others accused de Dicuru of wearing the dress for "attention" from men. "All the dads were filming that party," a commenter wrote.

But others defended the dress, and the mom, pointing out that the camera angle was largely to blame.

"Geez, guys. It's a summer dress at a specific angle," one woman said. "She is fulfilling her mom duties. Good for her."

Another admirer said, "I don't see anything wrong. If you go to the beach, you see a lot more flesh."

"Wow, what a lot of Karens in here," a third said, admonishing other commenters. "I see a mom trying to light a cake, period."

A fellow mom assured de Dicuru that she didn't "steal the spotlight" on her son's special day.

"I think the dress is fab. I'm sure the kids didn't notice or care," she said.

"Only sickos here thinking otherwise," de Dicuru agreed.

She also confirmed that her son didn't notice her wardrobe close call, and he loved his cake. "He had the best day ever," she wrote.
