A FOODIE has revealed that we’ve been eating Greggs sausage rolls all wrong.
So if you’re a fan of the high-street chain’s savoury bakes, you’ll need to listen up.
A food fan has taken to social media to share how he eats his sausage rolls and it’s left many open-mouthed.
Posting under the username ‘The Recipe Club’, the Greggs fan uses sausage rolls instead of bread to make his own sandwiches – yes, you heard that correctly.
Not only has his mouth-watering recipe left many very impressed, but people are calling it ‘genius’ and some have even gone as far to hail it Britain’s new ‘national dish.’
Posting online, the video was shared with the caption ‘Destroy all of your bread right now… you heard me.’

The foodie explained: “The only way to use Greggs sausage rolls is to use them instead of bread in a toasted sandwich.
“Get yourself four sausage rolls from Greggs and flatten them out as much as you can without them falling apart.
“Glue them together with cream cheese, top that with some properly tasty cheddar, yes a lot of it.
“If you don’t like Marmite, leave the Marmite out, but you shouldn’t leave the Marmite out.

“Now squeeze on a bit of egg cream [mayonnaise], then grind on some pep pep [pepper].
“Lay on the other two sausage rolls that you’ve also flattened out and glued together, then spread on some more mayo – that’ll help it get nice and brown and crispy.
“Don’t have your pan too hot because this needs to go for a little while to melt the cheese properly.”
Showing off the finished snack, the foodie continued: “Look how good this looks.
“I’m telling you, you’re never gonna want to use bread again. Bread is dead.
“Long live the sissy-roll-wich.”
The TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @therecipeclub, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 416,800 views and 12,800 likes in just hours.
Social media users were left open-mouthed at the delicious recipe and many were keen to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Best recipe this man has conjured up so far.”
Another added: “I NEED THIS NOW.”

Whilst someone else shared “You’re a genius.”
At the same time, many hailed it as Britain’s new dish, as one foodie joked: “Britain’s national dish.”

However, many others thought that the sausage roll sandwich looked like a heart attack waiting to happen.
