My husband loves Rangers more than me -I’m sick of it after 16 years so I’ve started cheating, my new man’s all about me | The Sun

A WIFE claims that her hubby forced her into the arms of another man because he cares more about his favourite football team than her.

Tanya, 42, from Glasgow, grew tired of his obsession with Rangers after 16 years together.

After the season started, she took advantage of her alone time while he attended games by finding a lover via the Illicit Encounters website.

She’s now hoping Rangers enjoy a successful season so her partner spends less time around the house where she could be caught cheating.

Tanya says:  “It's always been a running joke, but he does love Rangers more than me. It's not really funny.

“I started going out more on the chance I might meet someone, but then I started going online to seek an affair.

“I started seeing him near the end of the last football season. That's how the calendar works in my household.

“It was amazing. Every time my husband went off to the football, I'd arrange to see him.

“It was dinner dates, drinks, walks – all the stuff I'd longed for. We didn't even have sex the first time, but the second date didn't last long and we went back to his.

“Since then I've seen him pretty much every time the hubby has gone to watch Rangers.

“He doesn't go just for the football, it's a full day out of boozing so I have loads of time to be with my new man.”

She adds: “My husband can watch his team score, while I score with my lover so it's a win win.

“The better Rangers are doing and the happier my husband is to watch them, the better for me.

“This arrangement just sort of works, it's just a shame it came to this to be honest. Rangers play Celtic in a couple of weeks, and that will be a whole week of no interest from my husband so I'm even planning a weekend with my lover and saying I'm off with the girls. It's the perfect time to do it .

“I can't explain how flat our marriage has become. But he has distractions like the football, where I don't.

“Meeting my lover is my hobby now and I don't think my husband would ever clock on.

“Without sounding like a football manager, I'll see how this season goes.

“The past couple of weeks have been amazing getting back connected with my lover.

“It's early days but I guess I am starting to have feelings for him.”
