My husband made food for me to come home to… I thought it was cute but trolls say it’s so bad I should ask for a divorce | The Sun

YOUR husband taking the time to rustle up a delicious meal for you to come home to might sound like bliss, but it didn't work out that way for one woman.

When TikTok user @glowwithava showed off the plate of grub her bloke left in the fridge for her not everyone was as impressed as she was.

After a week away from her husband, Ava returned to find a fully stocked fridge with a meal already peppered for her tucked inside.

The plate, which had been lovingly covered in tinfoil and labelled with her name and a smiley face, seemed promising enough.

But when she pulled back the tinfoil to reveal the meal people were less than impressed.

On the plate there was a small slab of pale grilled chicken and 14 sprouts.

Ava clearly loved the slightly dull dish though, as she captioned the clip: "Screaming this is so cute!!!"

She even added the hashtag "married goals" to the post, but viewers thought the meal was bad enough to warrant a divorce.

One confused viewer quipped: "Are you sure he doesn't hate you?"

"That looks like a death sentence," a second agreed.

Another sarcastically wrote: "So flavoursome omg."

"That would make my day worse," someone else jabbed.

Despite appearances, Ava did eat the grub, but had to add "a lot of sauces" to the chicken, and still she only described it as "not that bad."

"But I really appreciate the thought more than anything," she added.

But others still weren't convinced and one TiKTok user replied: "Jesus the bar really is on the floor isn't it."

"Tell him to keep it, the chicken looks like a wax melt," commented another.
