A WOMAN has shared her recipe for her lazy girl cheese and tomato bake – and it couldn’t look tastier.
TikTok’s Sammy Montgoms said she can’t get enough of her dinner that takes under ten minutes to prepare and a further ten to cook.
Sammy, whose social media profile is @sammymontgoms, specialises in “simple food” and said she’s come to rely on the quick dish and that it’s a guaranteed hit with guests.
And as well as being delicious, it has the added bonus of being cooked in one pot, keeping washing up to a minimum.
As part of her online series ‘20 minute dinners for 20 days’, Sammy demonstrated how to make the food she’s named ‘Boursin, spinach and sun-dried tomato orzo pasta bake.”
Speaking to her 710k followers about the cheesy dish, she said: “This recipe is so simple and it’s made all in one baking dish.”

The American woman then launched into how it’s done, going through the easy steps one by one.
She explained: “The first thing we’re going to do is get our Boursin right into the middle.
“Next you’re going to add your [uncooked] orzo to the dish, along with some sundried tomatoes – these are just the jarred ones in the oil.”
Sammy then said you need to add three cloves of finely chopped garlic and your chosen seasoning, as she recommended chilli flakes, basil, oregano and a little salt and pepper to taste.

She finished this off by adding four cups of vegetable stock so that the orzo can cook well and take on the flavour.
Sammy went on to say: “I also have some oil left in the sun dried tomato jar that I’m just going to throw in.”
She then said that it was time to cook the dish, as she continued: “Now we’re going to bake her and then I’m going to check on this in about ten minutes and just give it a stir.”
The final part of the process was to grate some cheese and also add some spinach.

“When that orzo is 90% done, give it a mix and then add your cheese [and at least two cups of spinach].
“This really only needs one to two minutes just so the spinach is wilted and the extra cheese melts and then it’ll be done.”
She then unveiled the finished result – with the orzo cooked well and the cheese melted to perfection.
Sammy concluded that this results in “the perfect side dish or meal” and can be elevated further with the addition of chicken or shrimp.
