A DOG owner's nightmare neighbor got the cops involved in a dramatic dispute about the pets.
After a bit of back and forth, the situation backfired on the other resident.
Newly engaged Jo (@just.jo.things) describes herself as a dramatic and sarcastic woman who spills her "personal drama tea" online.
Not only does she tell viewers about the random moments in her life, but she also talks about events concerning her friends and family.
In a TikTok video, Jo revealed how and why her mom's neighbor called the police on her dog.
"So my mom texted me and she's like: 'I have a really traumatic experience that just happened to me' and I'm like: 'What happened?'" she said at the start of the video.
The doting daughter gave her mother a call around lunchtime, which is when she divulged every detail.
"'I have had the cops called on me because the dogs were barking outside and they wouldn't stop barking and the neighbor took it upon herself to use a blowhorn to try to scare the dogs'," she said.
The dogs are beagles, so Jo explained that when they heard the blowhorn, they just started barking more.
"It just kept going off because they thought it was a game of repeat, so the cops show up in order of a noise complaint. And mom's like: 'She's literally aggravating my dogs,'" she said.

The situation backfired in the end because the neighbor ended up calling the police on herself.
The law enforcement officers said she was harassing the content creator's mother.
"This is one of the reasons I’ll never buy her house is because of the neighbors," she added in the video caption.
There were different thoughts and opinions about the drama in the comment section of the video.
"But also why do people leave their dogs outside barking? I never understand that," one inquired.
"Love dogs. Love beagles! Hate mean neighbors. But please, don’t ever use that music again. Lol! It absolutely does make one feel uncomfortable!!" a viewer commented.
"Beagles be beagling," another wrote.
Jo replied: "They’re so crazy but so cute. They mean well."
