My neighbor made a revelation so I instantly installed a privacy fence – sorry, not sorry | The Sun

A HOMEOWNER has sparked a flurry of debate on her platform after she installed a privacy fence.

This followed a revelation from her neighbors, but she said she was "sorry, sorry not sorry."

The post has had a phenomenal response, with 1.1 million likes and over 3,000 comments.

Anna (@anna_with2ns) already has a well-established audience on her TikTok reaching upwards of 85,000 plus another 6.2 million likes.

This Canadian lady describes herself as a: “Mom of two boys, losing my crap on a daily basis.”

She had to keep her cool, however, when it came to the tricky issue of a privacy fence.

In the video, Anna pondered on the reaction of her neighbors when the wooden paneled fence went up.

Were they, or were they not going to take of-fence?

The camera panned the whole expanse of the new boundary as it was being built, and it stretched a long way.

When finished, it would completely block out those next door, a new development for them, said Anna.

“When your new neighbor tells you that they loved sharing the open space with the previous homeowners," she said with a slight grimace.

“I am aware, I am an a**hole. Sorry, not sorry," she said.

Anna was quick to point out that they were not bad neighbors.

“They’re not being mean or anything, they just didn’t want one to go up. They’re not being rude about it, just sad.”

Commenters piled in to have their say and share their own experiences.

“Did this and my neighbor went on a 45-minute rant about how they didn’t need a fence for the past 30 years until we moved in. Not sorry," said this viewer.

“Your house, you pay for it. Why would anyone else be entitled to your backyard,” was the opinion of this person, echoed by many more.

Another said: “Good fences make good neighbors.”
