My neighbour cut her trees down and totally exposed my garden, but I came up with a fab solution to get our privacy back | The Sun

WITH summer just around the corner, gardens are often the place families can enjoy some privacy and create happy memories together.

So it's little surprise that one man named Mo was left horrified when his neighbour, who lives in the house adjacent, cut down the trees at the end of her garden, leaving his home totally exposed and in full view of her windows.

In a clip shared to TikTok (@mo.and.the.jungle.shelf), he posted a before and after photo to demonstrate the difference it made when the trees, which helped to prevent his house from being overlooked, had been removed.

"This was our garden before our neighbour cut down her trees at the back," Mo says.

"….and suddenly we were so overlooked."

Determined, Mo told how he looked into different ways to get his privacy back.

After weighing up his options, he decided to purchase several mature Laurel hedge plants in the hope they'd grow big enough to block his neighbour's view into his garden.

He went on to explain how they were about 2 metres when he bought them and planted them, adding that they took almost two years to get to the height they are now.
