My trick can fix your bra if the underwire pops out – it's saved me so much money, they're like brand new | The Sun

A SAVVY woman has revealed how she fixes an age-old bra problem.

Her style hack solved the sometimes painful underwire issue that women face when it pops our from overuse or faulty manufacturing.

Violet (@stupid_wiitch), 21, showed her damaged brassiere in a video posted to TikTok.

"So I am super quick going to show you how to fix your bra if your underwire is popping out.

"It's something that I have done to multiple bras and this bra several times and it has worked like a charm," she said.

She started off the bra repair by pushing the underwire back into its desired place.

"So basically you're going to take the metal piece that's sticking out and you're going to shove it back in.

"Just shove it as far back into the bra as you can without it poking through the other side," she said.

Next, the clever TikToker used an item from her manicurist set — a tiny bottle of nail glue.

"You're actually going to take some regular nail glue that you would use for just like any old press ons and you're going to put a s**t ton of it over the tear," she said.

After allowing the glue to dry, she specified that it may cause discomfort against the skin.

She resolved the issue by using yet another item from her manicurist set — a nail file.

She carefully filed down the glued area in order to give it a smooth finish and minimize the chance of skin irritation.

At the end of the video, she declared her bra to be as good as new.

"Ta da, your bra's brand new," she raved.

Violet also specified that her trick helped her to save money as bras are often pricy.

"This trick has saved me so much money," she added.
