After being quiet for most of September due to the Queen’s death, the Duchess of Sussex’s podcast is active again with an episode where Meghan speaks to journalist Lisa Ling about the hypersexualisation of Asian women in popular culture. Lisa shared a photo of herself, her daughter, and Meghan on her Instagram. It seemed that the episode was recorded at the same time as Meghan filmed the trailer for her podcast back in August, as the Duchess was wearing the same outfit as in the clip she shared at the time.

On August 23 earlier this year, Meghan released the first episode of her podcast, as well as promotional content where she was seen wearing a striped shirt and high-waisted trousers.

She was seen donning this outfit again on Lisa Ling’s Instagram, suggesting this interview with the journalist was done on the same day as the filming for the advertisement.

It is not known what brand her striped shirt is, but it is two-tone in brown and beige and features a tie collar, which creates a pussy-bow at the neck. Meghan had chosen to wear it open and had undone a few buttons.

She had tucked the blouse into a pair of high-waisted beige trousers, which had paper bag pleats and a matching belt.

Meghan’s trousers were by Los Angeles-based designer Anine Bing, and are the Elyse Trouser in Oat, costing £300 on Farfetch.

The online description explains the product details: “Poised and polished, these trousers from Anine Bing offer a high-waistline with a straight leg silhouette and a cropped ankle hem.

“Soft pleats at the waist create a flattering fit, while the soft linen construction offers easy breathability and all-day comfort.

“They’re finished with an adjustable tonal fabric belt that can be removed to achieve a more casual appeal.”

To complete the look, Meghan wore a pair of Aquazzura heels – the exact shoes are called the Purist 105 Nude Nappa Leather Pump.

They are in the colour meringue, and are made from leather, featuring a pointed toe, slip-on style, and high stiletto heel.

Usually priced at £530, the heels are currently on sale at £503, with a five percent discount on Farfetch.

Meghan’s hair was tied back in a slick low ponytail and a prominent middle parting.

She accessorised with her signature Cartier pieces: Princess Diana’s gold Tank Cartier watch, as well as her Love Bracelet, which she has worn on numerous occasions.

Meghan also donned simple stud earrings and had her wedding ring on her finger.

Fans praised Meghan’s outfit, as well as the latest episode with Lisa Ling. Many commented on how much they liked the interview between the Duchess and the journalist.

Sociologist Nancy Yuen also featured on the episode, as well as comedian and actress Margaret Cho.
