A FORMER McDonald's cook has devised a test to help customers figure out if their local restaurant is up to snuff.
Mike Haracz, who was a corporate chef at the chain's headquarters in Illinois, said a big order with lots of customizations is a great way to figure that out.
"You need to go into your local McDonald's at a peak time," he said in the video on his TikTok account (@chefmikeharacz) which has since been viewed more than 80,000 times..
"I need you to order 10 Quarter Pounders with Cheese, and you could add some changes to those burgers, as well," the chef said.
"Bring some friends, it's going to be a little expensive."
Only a quality location will be able to get order done quickly and correctly.
"If you can get your complete order in under five minutes, and all of the ingredients or adjustments that you request are accurate, you are at a good McDonald's," Haracz said.
"If they cannot handle it, then it might not be the best-running McDonald's."
In a statement provided to Fox News, the chef provided more insight into what might be wrong at a location that fails the test.
"There are a variety of other factors that could affect a ‘good’ McDonald’s, like management, crew training, cleanliness, recent restaurant updates and crew morale," Haracz said.

He added that a location that fails could also be understaffed.
Haracz didn't pull the test out of thin air, either.
"This is based off corporate standards stating that McDonald's targets service times of 120 seconds," he said.
"However, due to grill capacity and the burgers taking around 80 seconds to cook, it may take two cook cycles to complete the order."
The chef said it's also best to order inside a restaurant for the test so they don't have to wait for other motorists in the drive-thru lane.
Many TikTok users knocked McDonald's in the comment section.
"There's no way my McDonald's could do this," one said.
"I don't think I've EVER been to a McDonald's that could handle this," another commenter said.
"I can't even get a Quarter Pounder in five minutes," a third commenter said.
