Princess Beatrice, 34, attended a Day of the Girl reception event at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office on Tuesday, dressed in a Me + Em navy blazer with red trim. The £536.79 blazer looked very similar to the one Beatrice wore to her school St George’s in Ascot.
The St George’s blazer is black with red trim along the edges, the sleeve cuffs, the breast pocket and the lapel.
This is nearly identical to the one Princess Beatrice wore at an engagement on Tuesday.
Beatrice was first seen wearing her school blazer on September 6, 2000, when she first joined her school aged 12.
She posed in between her parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, as she stood with her ginger hair brushed back into a neat ponytail.
On Tuesday, Beatrrcie stepped out with Vicky Ford, the MP for Chelmsford, and the Ambassador of Sweden to the UK in celebration of Day of the Girl.
For this, Beatrice wore an Italian Wool Military Jacket from Me + Em.
The jacket features Italian Wool Tailoring, and costs a whopping £536.79.
The jacket resembled the Princess’ old school blazer in many ways.
Both jackets featured red trim along the edges and were mainly navy in colour.
However, Beatrice’s designer jacket also contained fancy gold buttons down the front and slightly puffy shoulders to make it more unique.
It was also different as it had no school logo on the front like Beatrice’s school blazer.
Beatrice paired her Me + Em blazer with a navy blouse and an A-line skirt.
The Princess also opted for smart black stiletto heels, her Jimmy Choo Romy 100 Black Suede Pumps.
These retail for a sensational £550, making them more expensive than Beatrice’s blazer.
Beatrice was wearing no visible jewellery, which is unsurprising given her ears are not pierced.
This is the case for other royals, including the Queen Consort, Camilla Parker Bowles.
Beatrice had straightened her long ginger locks which she wore behind her ears.
Unfortunately, Princess Beatrice’s new blazer is so popular that it is now out of stock on the Me + Em website.
The date October 11 is the International Day of The Girl. It is an observance day declared by the United Nations.
The Day of the Girl was first celebrated 10 years ago, on October 11, 2012.
