Bonfire night means I can officially start getting excited about Christmas and all the festivities that lead up to it.

It also marks the beginning of mulled wine season!

So what better way to kick things off than with a festive red sequin skirt? It's perfect for date night teamed with a matching red polo neck – as I'm all about a monochrome look.

For me, a gorge jumper and jeans combo is the perfect fashion formula to tick all of the boxes – warmth, comfort AND style.

I’d size up in this Borg coat from Reserved, and the oversized appearance along with the large collar and crop cut makes it look really expensive.

Ganni is a really great mid-luxe designer brand, which has loads of accessories for under £100.

Check scarfs are super-popular this autumn – they took over the runway in shows including Saint Laurent and Burberry, but this John Lewis style is a great dupe (and much more affordable)!

I LOVE bonfire night. For years, we went up to the kids' school to watch the fireworks, but now they're bigger, we all tend to pop to the local park with a flask of hot chocolate.

My main aim is to keep warm, but if I can look stylish at the same time then win-win!

This year I am teaming this fab aviator jacket from M&S with a statement knit from COS and a pair of high-waisted Abercrombie jeans.

Accessories-wise, you can’t go wrong with cashmere. Red gloves and a pair of bright socks add a pop of fun to the look.

Top it off with a faux-fur deerstalker hat and I can confirm you will be snug as a bug!

I’ve never been to an outdoor bonfire night in my adult life.

Standing out in the cold, paying for expensive drinks and food, and having neck ache the next day from staring up at the sky?

No, thanks – just do it indoors instead!

Watching the glitter fall across the sky, from indoors, in a glamourous outfit is much more my thing!

I’ll be wearing something to mirror the night, like this black dress covered in sequins, plus accessories that set the outfit off.

I love this cute bag from Dune, it's such a good find. You can loop it around your wrist and still be hands free for canapés.

That's what I call arm candy!

This bonfire night I’m all about wrapping up and keeping cosy.

I really want to up my athleisure game this winter, so I’ve been looking for basic, staple pieces that I know I’ll get my wear out of year after year.

I keep seeing fleece jackets everywhere on the high street, so this one from H&M went straight into my basket.

LOCKDOWN

Big Brother live feed axed after HUGE row erupts and housemate is heard screaming

I’m not a massive fan of scarves, so a roll neck is a good alternative to keep me warm. I opted for this Barbie-pink shade to add some colour into my look.

And while black leggings might not be the most groundbreaking of items, they are a must-have in my wardrobe – these ones from Zara are made from a thick material that will keep me cosy all night long.
