The Duchess of York has an impeccable wardrobe and is known for her favourite garments, such as her collection of military jackets, her short black skirt, and her cat-shaped ballet flats. But for her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Sarah sported a completely different outfit compared to usual.
The Duchess looked elegant in a cream blouse with long sleeves and frills at the cuffs.
The frills and the small buttons running down the blouse’s centre made it look almost vintage.
It was collarless and quite low cut, showing Sarah’s gold necklace. This necklace featured a chain and a coin-shaped pendant.
Sarah matched it with her small, gold hoop earrings.

The Duchess had tucked her blouse into a pair of dark green velvet trousers.
These were reminiscent of Sarah’s style as she often wears unique pieces made from a range of textures and materials.
The gold buttons on the trousers’ front pockets were also a subtle nod to Sarah’s usual fashion sense as they could be interpreted as military style-inspired.
The Duchess often dons jackets and trousers featuring gold buttons, usually adorning the former’s shoulders.

Sarah’s red locks were styled in loose waves over her shoulders, and she wore a heavy make-up look.
She donned lashings of black mascara and black eyeliner on both of her waterlines.
As well as the necklace and earrings, Sarah wore her usual gold bracelets.
One was thin while the other was chunky and adorned with letters.
The Duchess wears the latter as a way of keeping her daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, close to her.
This is because the bracelet is made up of two slim, gold bangles, with the words ‘Eugenie’ and ‘Beatrice’ holding the two together.
Sarah has worn the jewel many times in the past, including to Eugenie’s wedding in October 2018. At the time, the Duchess expressed her pride in her daughter for wearing a wedding dress that revealed a snippet of her past many may not have known about – that she had scoliosis.
Speaking to Hello! after the wedding, Sarah said: “I was so proud of Eugenie standing tall and showing her scar. She is an inspiration to young women everywhere.”
But the wedding wasn’t the bracelet’s first outing – Sarah has been wearing it as early as 2004.
Today, Sarah shared behind-the-scenes snaps of her time on The Kelly Clarkson Show on her Instagram. Royal fans were quick to comment on her outfit, with many saying how “fantastic” she looked.
