Mum reveals ‘hack’ to avoid washing up plates – but she definitely won’t be doing it again | The Sun

A DOTING mum has unveiled the hack she discovered to avoid doing any of the dishes, but confessed it’s not something she’s likely to repeat in the future.

Hannah Levine, 30, explained that her children Willow, 10, and Oakley, five, thought she was “having a breakdown” when she dumped a load of spaghetti onto the dining table, but it worked like a charm when it came to reducing the clean-up work.

The woman explained that her husband had told her to “chuck dinner on the table” and so she did – literally.

She put the spaghetti, meatballs and Bolognese sauce across the middle of the tablecloth and left the plates safely behind in a cupboard.

Her daughter, Willow, asked: “What are you doing?” while her younger sibling stared at the pile of food in front of thim.

As Hannah topped the meal off with some cheese, the kids couldn’t contain their excitement over the scenes taking place before them.

While she gave the kids knives and forks, she told Kennedy News that they eventually began eating with their hands.

The dogs even got a taste of the dinner as they jumped onto the table to join in on the fun.

Costing under £10 to make the vegan meal, she said it took just 30 seconds to clean it all up.

"It was a joke really. I told my husband dinner was ready and he said 'chuck it on the table and I'll be there in a minute' so I did,” Hannah, from Dunmow, Essex, told the news agency.

"They [my kids] loved it and in the end gave up with cutlery and it was a free for all.”

She continued: "When I first poured the spaghetti onto the table, they were like 'mum what are you doing?'.

"When I put the sauce on the table, I think my daughter thought I was having a breakdown. My son was questioning why there weren't any plates."

Thanks to her creative genius, her children ended up having more than usual, with the pair even turning it into a challenge on who could eat the most off the table.

The reaction to her hilarious activity, which she posted on her Facebook account, was met with divided opinion.

While some said it looked “fun”, others said they wouldn’t try it themselves “because of the mess.”

But Hannah insisted it was “easy to clean up” – though she won't be doing it again herself.

"So when you said pop round for dinner what does this actually involve?" one person had written in the comments.
