Shoppers are racing to Lidl to snap up £6.50 bargain buy that'll keep them warm this winter…but you better be quick | The Sun

LET'S face it, there are few things worse than getting into a cold bed and having to shiver yourself to sleep.

But if you're trying your best to avoid turning your heating on due to the extortionate electricity bills, then listen up…because it turns out there's a bargain buy that'll help you warm up in an instant.


And the best part of all? It costs just £6.50 from Lidl.

So it's little surprise people have been going wild for it, with one social media user going so far as to say it's "so warm" they haven't "slept so well in absolutely ages."

Delighted shopped Ali Minara took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared several snaps of the bedding that she managed to nab in the store's mega sale.

Alongside the images, she penned: "Thanks for mentioning Lidl.

It wasn't long before the post racked up several likes and comments, with many eager to get their hands on the bargain buys.

"We got one of these duvets (but king-size) yesterday and used it last night and omg I haven't slept so well in absolutely ages it's soooo warm, for anyone interested," wrote one.

A second penned: "I went to my local one they didn't have any left."

A third wrote: "I need to go to Lidl lol."

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "Bought the double duvet cover for £9 it's gorgeous."

Another commented: "I managed to also get the duvet but they didn't have any covers or blankets."

A further tagged a friend and wrote: "We should get some for the kids."

And one more chimed in: "Hardly anything left in ours."

It's not the first time shoppers have been going wild for the store in recent days, with many racing to snap up discounted deals in Lidl's store's 50% off sale.

Amongst the sale items on offer include air fryers, Chromebooks, electric blankets, Squishmallow toys.

Leigh Semple, shared the receipt for her reduced Chromebook, which she nabbed for just £49.99.

She wrote: “Lidl middle aisle bargains, these were in the back so you have to ask for them.

“Chromebooks £49.99, were £149.99 down to £99.99.  

“So bargain at £49.99 as still £200 on Amazon.”

Naomi Cairns also nabbed a variety of items – from pillows and clothing, to a large selection of kids’ toys.
