Shoppers are racing to snap up homeware in Asda and it’s scanning for as little as 90p | The Sun

SAVVY SHOPPERS are racing to snap up homeware scanning for pennies at Asda superstores.

From luxurious bed linen to fluffy towels, cute vases and even lights, Asda has slashed prices in their homeware section, with some items scanning for as little as 90p.

An eagle-eyed shopper called Lewis Eldridge made the discovery at his local Asda and shared the news on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

“Some bargains in the local Asda today,” he revealed, alongside four pictures to show off what’s on offer.

The first image shows a tall table lamp with a wooden base and a mustard-coloured shade.

It’s right on trend for the season and better yet, it’s less than a pound.

The label on the shelf reads just 90p, alongside the words ‘special price’.

The same lamp is available in white, listed on the website as a George Home White Wood Cylinder Lamp, priced at £9.50.

This suggests the mustard version has been reduced by over £8 – what a bargain.

But that’s not the only deal on the shelves.

Lewis also shared a trendy yellow vase in the shape of a bee hive, priced at just £2.50 – perfect for your summer blooms.

There’s a pile of soft green towels, priced at £1 each, and a set of reversible green bedding for just £4.75 – what a steal.

Tonnes of group members have begun tagging each other into the post to flag the deals, but that’s not the only sale catching their eye.

In another recent post, an eager shopper spotted a bargain summer barbecue priced at just £8 instead of a whopping £69.

Thrilled with the deal, one follower said: “Great find, bargain!”

Meanwhile, another tagged their friend and wrote: “We can replace our BBQ.”

If you’re quick, you can still snap up a Hexagonal Charcoal Barrel Grill and fire up before summer ends.

There’s still time to invest in garden furniture too, with Asda selling off chic black reclining garden chairs for £6.30 – reduced from £12.60.

As the cost of living creeps up, we’ll do anything to bag a bargain – but there’s still room for a little treat or two.

One coffee-loving shopper sparked a frenzy after discovering a latte drink that tastes just like Kinder Bueno chocolate, and it’s tonnes cheaper than a Starbucks order.
